The project
Overview
Developed a hyperlocal community app that connects people with nearby businesses, events, and classified listings. Built with Flutter for iOS and Android, Hamsaya combines a map-based business directory, a social feed for local updates, and a buy-and-sell marketplace in a single experience. Fully localized for Dari and Pashto with right-to-left layout support across major Afghan cities.

What I built
Built a map-based discovery experience with live location, clustered business pins, and category filters for businesses and events.
Developed a social feed where local businesses publish posts with image carousels, likes, and comments to reach nearby customers.
Implemented a classifieds marketplace with category and price filters, multi-image listings, and city-based browsing.
Delivered full RTL support and Dari/Pashto localization, including locale-aware currency and date formatting.
Designed a reusable widget library and shared UI kit to keep the feed, discover, and sell modules visually consistent.
Leveraged Flutter for a single cross-platform codebase, ensuring consistent performance on both iOS and Android.
